Sustainability
SUSTAINABILITY IS IN OUR CORE VALUES
The pandemic has exposed the weaknesses of global social, political and economic systems, offering an opportunity for business to lead systemic change to create a more sustainable and inclusive future.
Enna Moda was born during the pandemic to address the fundamental needs of consumers. We noticed that our pyjamas are not comfortable and fabric was disturbing our skin. We thought that we need to wear eco-friendly, more comfortable and soft clothes.
Enna Moda is a green fashion brand that produces only the best for our customers. We create exciting new ideas to make life simpler and more fun, on occasions provoking feelings and emotions and on others offering solutions. We bring the colors of mother nature to the urban through its high quality products.
As a responsible business, we are working to create more sustainable ways of doing business whilst continuing to reduce our operational carbon footprint and improving resource efficiency.
We have a systematic approach for sustainability and we take it very seriously in each different level.
ENVIRONMENT: ENNA MODA recognizes it has a responsibility and an obligation to work to reduce the direct impact of its business operations on the natural environment, both now and in the future.
EQUAL GENDER PAY: Our employees are integral to achieving our business objectives and we aim to attract, retain and develop the best talent at every level throughout ENNA MODA. We are committed to creating an environment where all individuals feel welcomed, respected and supported.
We endeavour to ensure salary differentials between individuals in the business are fair and justifiable. Most roles within the business have an associated salary grid with differentials within the same role being determined by competency. Differences in salary between individuals in the same role must be justified by levels of performance in that role.
HUMAN RIGHTS AND MODERN SLAVERY: Any instance of forced labour is unacceptable. Respect for human rights is inherent in how ENNA MODA operates as a responsible business.
RESPONSIBLE SOURCING: We source 100% of the main raw materials we use through known, responsible or certified routes.
FABRIC: According to the WGSN, the leading trend forecasting company in the fashion industry, Man-made cellulosic fibres (MMCs) such as viscose, cotton, lyocell and modal, made primarily of tree pulp or cotton linter, are the most used nature-based fibres in fashion.
More importantly, the pandemic changed the preferences of people and consumers would like to wear more comfortable and eco-friendly soft clothes.
We use organic cotton, viscose and modal fabrics for our collections.
PACKAGING: We try to avoid any plastic usage for our packaging. Therefore, we designed innovative multi-functional bags for packaging. Our customers continue to use them as a bag and we don't waste fabric.
SHIPMENT BOXES: When we design out packages, we decided to use 100 % recycled boxed and 100 % cotton bags for the delivery packaging. Also, we try to eliminate the plastic usage.
As a young international fashion and homeware business, what we do and how we do it has an impact on the people and the world around us. We will continue to produce eco-friendly products, make our customers happy and save our planet.
